The village that avoided India's cash crunch

India’s sudden withdrawal of some bank notes has led to a cash crisis across the country.

In cities, people have been queuing up outside banks and ATMs for hours hoping to get their hands on some cash and the situation is even worse in rural areas where people have to travel miles to their nearest bank.

But one village in the western state of Gujarat has avoided the chaos and embraced a cashless lifestyle.
