Universities overwhelmed from students trying to find a place

Universities say they have been overwhelmed by calls from students trying to find a place, after they did not get the A-level results they wanted.

But many teenagers have decided to take a gap year rather than do a course that is not their first choice, while others are considering studying abroad.
