BBC finds top fees at 'half' universities in survey

A BBC survey suggests that far more English university students will be paying the maximum level of tuition fees than originally expected.

Almost half of all English universities responded to the survey with just under 50 percent saying they would be charging the full £9,000 annual fee.

The BBC's education correspondent, Reeta Chakrabarti reports.
