Ofsted warning over provision for school leavers

Too many courses for school leavers in England are not providing the skills needed to help them find work or go on to further education, Ofsted has warned.

The education inspectorate's inspectors say it is "simply not enough" to keep teenagers in education until 18 if they fail to leave with decent qualifications and experience.
