Miliband: 'Broadest shoulders should bear greatest burden'

Ed Miliband has criticised zero-hours contracts for the "insecurity" they create for workers.

He described them as "not good enough for the people of Britain".

The Labour leader also pledged that a government led by him would only increase tax on the highest earners, saying: "The broadest shoulders should bear the greatest burden."
