Election 2015: Labour manifesto explained

Labour leader Ed Miliband has unveiled the party's election manifesto, promising to reduce the deficit and balance the books, while offering "a better future" for the country.

Mr Miliband said the party would increase the minimum wage to more than £8 an hour and abolish zero hours contracts.

Tax credits would be protected and National Insurance would not be raised.
