Election 2015: David Cameron firm on EU poll pledge

David Cameron has insisted he would not "bargain away" a referendum on Britain's membership of the EU if the Conservatives fail to win a majority in Thursday's general election.

In an interview with the BBC, the Conservative leader urged voters to back his party if they want to stop an alliance between Labour and the SNP.

But he denied that he was dependent on a good result for the SNP for his own party's prospects.
