Election 2015: It was a very bad defeat, says Harman

Labour MPs will gather for the first time since last week's general election defeat under the interim leadership of Harriet Harman.

Senior party figures have set out their views on why the party lost, with Lord Mandelson suggesting the party had shifted too far to the left.

Ms Harman said she had commissioned a report looking into the reasons the party performed so badly.
