Tom Elliott: 'Win a great victory for the UK'

Tom Elliott has said that unionist winning the seat of Fermanagh and South Tyrone represented a great victory "not only for unionism, Northern Ireland and for the United Kingdom".

Speaking after being declared the winner, said the constituency was "not a green constituency" and "doesn't belong to Bobby Sands".

He took the seat from Sinn Féin's Michelle Gildernew by just over 500 votes.
