What Wyclef would have done as Haitian president

Haitian hip-hop star Wyclef Jean has said if he had become president he would have concentrated on creating jobs in the wake of the devastating earthquake that struck in January.

The musician, who was told he could not run for presidency due to residency requirements, criticised the electoral system in the recent elections and branded it the 'worst form of voting'.

Wyclef told the BBC's Thomas Fessey, during the World Festival of Black Arts and Culture in Senegal, that music was more than just singing songs.
