Drive director Refn on his 'Hollywood fairytale'

Director Nicolas Winding Refn has described Ryan Gosling as the "guardian angel" of his new film, Drive.

The Danish director said the lead actor protected the "European sensibilities" of the film while he was working in America.

Refn told the BBC's Tim Masters it was "wonderful" filming in Los Angeles after initially being "paranoid" about making the film in Hollywood.
