'Play The Guitar in a Day' creator Bert Weedon dies

The guitarist, Bert Weedon, has died at the age of 91. Weedon became famous in the 1950's for his influential "Play The Guitar in a Day" books.

The list of people who learned with the books reads like a music hall of fame.

The Beatles, Eric Clapton, Pete Townsend and Brian May all learned to play because of his books.

Weedon was once decribed as "the man who taught the world to play electric guitar."
