Opera singer Jessye Norman on meeting President Obama

Legendary American soprano Jessye Norman has won numerous awards including the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award for Classical Music but she also manages to fit in time for fund-raising.

Speaking to Sean Rafferty on Radio 3's In Tune, the famous opera singer said she spends time raising money for a tuition-free school for 11-15 year old students in her hometown of Augusta, Georgia.

The opera singer also spoke about receiving the National Medal for the Arts from US President Barack Obama at The White House.
