Author Ray Bradbury dies, aged 91

Author Ray Bradbury has died in Los Angeles at the age of 91.

Bradbury wrote hundreds of novels, short stories, plays and television and film scripts in a career dating back to the 1940s.

His most famous novels include Fahrenheit 451 and Something Wicked This Way Comes.

Bradbury appeared on Wogan in 1990 and spoke about what made him such a prolific writer, highlighting his memory as key to his work.

The author told presenter Terry Wogan his memory was so good that he could even remember the day he was born.
