London Marathon: 30 seconds of silence for Boston

The start of the London Marathon has been marked by 30 seconds of silence in honour of the Boston bombings' victims.

Many runners are wearing black ribbons to remember the victims of Monday's bombings.

Amid an increased police presence, thousands lined the streets to see the athletes set off.
