Prince Charles reads Fern Hill by Dylan Thomas
The Prince of Wales has recorded a reading one of his favourite poems - Fern Hill by Dylan Thomas - to mark National Poetry Day.
The prince is patron of The Dylan Thomas 100 Festival, which will celebrate the poet's centenary later this year.
Prince Charles says he enjoys the poem for its "poignant and moving evocation of a rural west Wales childhood". He one of the legacies of Thomas's poetry is that it inspires people to appreciate the incomparable landscape of Wales.
