Sound piece wins Jerwood Drawing Prize

The winners have been announced for the Jerwood Drawing Prize 2014, the UK's largest and longest running annual open exhibition for drawing.

Alison Carlier has been awarded the First Prize of £8,000 for her 1 minute 15 second audio work entitled 'Adjectives, lines and marks' which she describes as "an open-ended audio drawing, a spoken description of an unknown object".
