Television news ethics come under fire in Jake Gyllenhaal's latest film, Nightcrawler.

Gyllenhaal plays a freelance cameraman in Los Angeles who films lurid crime scenes and car accidents and sells them to television stations who have an unquenchable thirst for sensational footage.

The film raises questions about privacy, voyeurism and the integrity of television news journalism.
