Frederick Forsyth: My days as an MI6 spy

The Day of the Jackal author Frederick Forsyth has revealed he worked for MI6 for more than 20 years.

In his autobiography, The Outsider: My Life, the 77-year-old gives details of operations in Africa and behind the Iron Curtain.

He spoke to BBC News about how he was first approached to work for British Intelligence.
