Ai Weiwei's art 'not my taste', says Chinese ambassador

China's ambassador to the UK Liu Xiaoming has told BBC's Andrew Marr that Chinese artist Ai Weiwei's work is "not my taste".

He said there were many better than this "so-called artist" and that he was only famous because of his criticism of the government.

He was being asked about China's human rights record ahead of a state visit from China's President Xi Jinping this week.
