Boyz II Men appear on the new Foo Fighters album

The Foo Fighters have revealed that 1990s soul band Boyz II Men sing backing vocals on their new album, Concrete and Gold.

Dave Grohl told BBC 6 Music the unusual collaboration had come about when he spotted a member of the group in a car park near the recording studio he was working in.

Although the boyband are best known for the saccharine ballad End Of The Road, they ended up singing the "heaviest" song on the record, he told Matt Everitt.

Grohl and drummer Taylor Hawkins also discussed the impact of politics on their songwriting, and their addiction to Scrabble.
