GPs doubt NHS reforms will improve services

Most GPs are not convinced that patients will see their care get better as a result of a key change planned for the NHS in England.

That is according to a poll carried out for the BBC which also found that GPs do accept that large scale change is needed to secure the future of the NHS.

By 2013 family doctors in England will take over the health care budgets for their local communities.
