Government set to publish NHS reform bill

The most radical shake-up of the NHS in England since it was founded more than 60 years ago is moving a step closer.

The government is set to publish its Health and Social Care Bill outlining a series of changes that will see family doctors take control of a budget of around £80bn.

The NHS in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are unaffected, but the changes in England are deeply controversial.

Dominic Hughes reports.
