Mental health care to receive £400m extra funding

The government is promising to make it easier for young people with mental health problems to get proper treatment, promising £400m extra to fund care for all ages.

But GPs say many youngsters face unacceptably long waits for help, while campaigners say cuts in other services mean the new strategy may have little impact.
