My daughter 'would be dead' under heart surgery review

A review of children's heart surgery is expected to recommend that at least four out of 11 units across England should stop operating.

Fiona Spensley, whose teenage daughter Sophie underwent four open heart surgery operations at the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford, has said the 15-year-old would have died without the care she received.
