Carey Mulligan joins dementia awareness campaign

The Government has described dementia, and caring for those who have it, as one of the biggest challenges we face as a society. But a survey has found that many of us do not know anything about the condition.

The Alzheimer's Society is hoping to change that with the help of their new ambassador, the oscar-nominated actress Carey Mulligan. Her grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's eight years ago.

Mulligan spoke exclusively to the BBC's health correspondent Adam Brimelow.
