Doctors warn of Vitamin D deficiency in UK

Doctors have warned Vitamin D deficiency is becoming an increasing problem in the UK, with a quarter of children not getting enough.

The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health is launching a campaign to raise awareness of the issue.

Vitamin D is an essential nutrient that contributes to healthy, strong bones and helps to control the amount of calcium in the blood.

Fergus Walsh reports.
