NHS failings: Twins criticise treatment of grandfather
Eleven hospital trusts are being placed in special measures because of major failings, the government has announced.
Twins Sharon Walsh and Tracey Webster say their grandfather Fred Harris, a 90-year-old war veteran, died after being moved to nine different wards during his 12 days in Basildon hospital.
The hospital was among 14 in England to be investigated by NHS England's medical director Prof Sir Bruce Keogh for having abnormally high death rates.
