Call for free vitamins for children

England's chief medical officer has criticised the state of children's health.

In a new report, Dame Sally Davies also calls for an extension of a scheme to give free vitamins to young children after a rise in cases of the bone disease, rickets.

She's also wants an annual survey of young people's mental health to be introduced.
