UN warns of polio resurgence around world

United Nations health officials are warning of a global resurgence of polio if a significant outbreak in the Horn of Africa is not stopped.

A huge emergency vaccination campaign is under way in the region to reach millions of people and prevent further cases of the disease - which can cause paralysis and sometimes death.

Many of those affected by this outbreak are refugee populations - which makes it harder to control

Rajesh Mirchandani visited the Dadaab refugee camp in Kenya to see how they were fighting polio.
