Sausage skin maker reports fall in profits

Devro, the Scottish maker of sausage skins, has reported a fall in profits from £39.3m to £37.5m.

So are the British falling out of love with sausages?

Mick Sloyan, director of pig industry body BPEX, claimed the horsemeat scandal was putting customers off cheaper products.

He told BBC Radio 5 live's Sean Farrington: "They want to know where their meat comes from, they want good quality and they're prepared to pay for it."
