Can driving improve Aboriginal health?

The health inequality between Aboriginal people and other Australians is stark - the difference in life expectancy is 7-9 years.

The reasons for this are complex - and many health initiatives try to tackle it in different ways.

But could a project that helps people get their driving licence make a difference?
