Questions answered on insurance cover for care in old age

Leading insurance companies have told the BBC they currently have no plans to offer cover for people who want to plan ahead for care fees in their old age.

The cost of care for the elderly which can be confusing and complex picture.

Janet Morrison, chief executive of Independent Age, answered some viewers' questions on the subject after they had got in touch with the BBC News Channel.
