Fleet Street: A brief history in headlines and pictures
For centuries, Fleet Street was synonymous with British journalism and the hub for nearly all the UK printing press.
After the Wapping dispute in the 1980s, UK papers started moving out of the street to custom-built facilities elsewhere in London.
With the last remaining journalists from the Sunday Post now leaving, Fleet Street is no longer home to any of the UK's newspaper press.
