Where has all the oil gone?

There is now optimism about the speed and scale of the remaining clean-up operation after the worst environmental disaster in US history.

But while US officials say around a quarter of the spill is unaccounted for, scientists are concerned about what impact the dilute, dispersed, oil could do to marine life.
