UN climate body 'needs reform'
The UN's climate change advisory panel needs serious reform if it is to regain trust after errors were found in its most recent major assessment of climate science, an international review has said.
The report into the IPCC said it does a good job overall, but should change its leadership more often and be more open.
Dr Harold Shapiro also said there needed to be "stronger enforcement" of existing review procedures in order to assure "the quality of data used".
