Nasa chief explains what the James Webb telescope and Miri will do

Dr Eric Smith, Nasa's deputy programme director for the James Webb Space Telescope, explains what the telescope will be able to do.

He also explains the role of the Mid-Infrared Instrument (Miri), a major component of the telescope which has been constructed in the UK, and how it will be able to peer through dust clouds to see distant stars.
