GM site protected from campaign rally

Campaigners opposed to a trial of genetically modified wheat in Hertfordshire are being kept away from the test site on Sunday because of fears the crop may be damaged.

They had been planning a day of action against an experiment being conducted by Rothamsted Research.

A rally is still expected to take place nearby, as Simon Clemison reports.
