Robots inspired by origami fold themselves into action

Engineers at Harvard University have created a robot that unfolds itself from a flat sheet and is able to crawl.

They say their design, inspired by the Japanese art of origami, could be used to create devices that self-assemble in confined spaces.

The BBC's Victoria Gill reports.
