'Resilience needed' in global food supply

Scientists say the global food system needs to be more resilient to shocks that can limit supply and drive up prices.

For Tim Benton, from the UK's Global Food Security Programme, this requires a change of attitude on the part of all the players, to recognise that extreme weather is going to be an ever-present threat in the future.

Prof Benton spoke with our correspondent Jonathan Amos about the results of the recent UK-US Taskforce on Extreme Weather and the Global Food System.
