Can scientists clone extinct Ice Age cave lion?

Scientists from South Korea and Russia want to clone an extinct cave lion from its DNA.

They are using the remains of an Ice Age cub found in Russia's Sakha Republic last year.

The scientists are carrying out the work at the Joint Foundation of Molecular Palaeontology, at Yakutsk's North East Russia University.
