Larry Tesler: Tech veteran on 40 years in Silicon Valley
Silicon Valley veteran Larry Tesler arrived in California's high-tech heartland in 1961 as a 16-year-old Stanford University freshman.
He set up a software business in his early 20s, then worked at Xerox Parc, Apple and later Yahoo.
He is now a consultant to Valley firms big and small, specialising in the way users experience technology products.
Larry Tesler spoke to the BBC's Rory Cellan-Jones about the early days at Apple, the impact of Steve Jobs, and why the Valley seems to be surviving the global economic turmoil.
