Protests in New York against anti-piracy bills

Several US senators have withdrawn their backing from two anti-piracy bills following protests on Wednesday.

Online encyclopaedia Wikipedia and other sites blocked their content, while demonstrators gathered outside New York Senator Charles Schumer's offices in Manhattan.
