Ad-blocking technology to be introduced on mobile phones

Pop-up adverts on mobile devices annoy some users and also use up phone battery life and cost users money.

They can rack up charges in data consumption and make websites slow to load.

Now leading ad-blocking companies are introducing technology which will allow users to block advertisements on mobiles.
