CES 2016: Ford says it is a 'leader' in self-driving tech

Ford's chief executive has told the BBC his company is one of the leaders in self-driving vehicle technology.

There are reports that Mark Fields plans to bring autonomous cars to market via a new company formed in conjunction with Google.

But there was no mention of the idea at his CES press conference.

The BBC's North America technology reporter Dave Lee asked whether there was anything to the rumours when he caught up with Mr Fields at the Las Vegas tech show.
