Review launched into drinking laws to curb trouble

It was supposed to usher in a new Mediterranean-style café culture, but 24 hour drinking has in some places meant violence and disruption.

The Home Secretary Theresa May is launching a consultation on new powers for councils in England and Wales to restrict or remove licences in trouble spots.
