How film footage has helped save Schnellboot 130
It claimed the lives of more than 700 Allied servicemen on a single day.
One of the Germans' deadliest weapons - the naval vessel, Schnellboot 130, has been lying in a Cornish dry dock with conservationists unsure about how to restore her.
But now they have been given a massive boost - rare footage of the boat in the 1940s - which they are now using as a template.
