Man, 90, dies after £40 robbery at London home

90 year-old war veteran Geoffrey Bacon was violently robbed on the doorstep of his south London flat for just 40 pounds and a bus pass.

He survived the attack in April, but died a fortnight ago from his injuries.

His son Philip and daughter-in-law Jean expressed his 'utter shock' at such an attack and appealed for help in catching his killer.
