Scientist's widow speaks of 'harrowing' inquest

An inquest jury has found that a British government scientist died during top-secret trials which were not appropriately planned.

Terry Jupp was killed eight years ago in an explosion as he mixed chemicals at a Ministry of Defence testing station in Essex.

Speaking outside the court in Southend-on-Sea, Terry Jupp's widow Pat said the inquest had been 'extremely harrowing'.
