Chelsea siege barrister lawfully killed

An inquest jury has ruled that a man shot dead by police during an armed siege in London was lawfully killed.

Barrister Mark Saunders has been drinking and was armed with a shotgun and died at his flat in Chelsea in May 2008.

The jury decided the police response was proportionate and reasonable and that they had fired in self-defence.

Andy Tighe reports.
